On August 27, 2025, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Governor Jared Polis announced the recipients of the 2025 Human–Bear Conflict Reduction Community Grant. Among the 22 projects awarded nearly $1 million, Mountain Air Ranch Family Nudist Resort (MAR) in Littleton received $17,000 specifically for the installation of bear-secure trash receptacles.
