The Naturist Vibe
A podcast asking the hard questions about naturism
In a digital landscape full of lifestyle podcasts, The Naturist Vibe stands out. It does not rely on glossy branding or surface level chatter. Instead, it leans into the parts of naturist life that people often avoid talking about. Launched in 2025 and hosted by Gabby (also known as “The Crowned Nudi”) and Dan Speers, the show creates a space for real conversations about ethical naturism and the realities behind communal nudity.
About the hosts
Gabby (The Crowned Nudi)
Gabby, known as The Crowned Nudi, is a naturist storyteller who brings a warm, curious, and deeply personal voice to the movement. She discovered naturism later in life and quickly found that it offered a sense of freedom, confidence, and connection she had been searching for. Her work focuses on helping others navigate the emotional side of body acceptance and the awkward or vulnerable moments that often come with starting a naturist journey.
She is passionate about highlighting diverse naturist experiences and creating spaces where people feel seen and supported. Whether she is writing, speaking, or cohosting The Naturist Vibe, Gabby approaches naturism with honesty, humor, and a strong commitment to ethical, community centered values.
Dan Speers
Dan Speers, co-host of The Naturist Vibe, grew up as a lifelong naturist. He was raised in a nudist family and spent much of his childhood at well known clubs like Cypress Cove and Sunny Palms. For Dan, naturism and especially ethical naturism is not just a lifestyle. It is a way of seeing people with respect, dignity, and humanity no matter their differences.
Alongside his advocacy, he is a dedicated creator who works with woodworking, 3D printing, web design, cooking, baking, and just about anything he can craft with his hands. His latest passion project involves 3D scanning people, printing highly detailed replicas, and hand painting them, which brings together his artistic skill and his belief in celebrating the human form.

A different naturist conversation
Most naturist media focuses on travel, sunny beaches, or the carefree resort experience. The Naturist Vibe does something different. It brings naturism back to its roots by focusing on the philosophy behind it. According to their website, the podcast explores the hosts’ personal experiences in the naturist world and frames everything through the idea of “ethical naturism.”
That phrase says a lot. It suggests that naturism is not just about taking your clothes off. It is about questioning social norms, dropping shame, building community, and practicing respect for both people and the environment. It treats nudity as a tool for understanding ourselves and each other, not just a leisure activity.
Because of this, the show feels like a different kind of naturist conversation. It is thoughtful, honest, and willing to sit with the complicated parts of the lifestyle.
Not afraid of the shadows
One of the most compelling things about The Naturist Vibe is its willingness to go into darker or more uncomfortable territory. Many naturist podcasts keep things light and carefree, but Gabby and Dan do not shy away from the stories that shake the community.
A recent two part episode, “A Hot Dog Made Me Do It: Murder at a Naturist Resort,” looks at a shocking double murder that happened after what seemed like a small dispute. It is unsettling, but it also raises questions about safety, conflict, and the myth that naturist spaces are always calm or idealistic.
Another episode, “Love, Music and The Perv,” deals with authenticity and accountability. The hosts talk openly about what happens when someone crosses boundaries in a community built on trust and vulnerability. It is the kind of conversation that many naturist spaces quietly avoid, which makes it even more important.
This podcast does not romanticize naturism. It treats it like the complex and very human movement that it is.
Why it matters and why people are listening
For many people, naturism is about liberation. It is a chance to step away from pressure, shame, and the constant scrutiny of modern life. There is something valuable about environments where bodies are not judged or graded.
What The Naturist Vibe adds to this is the reminder that naturism is not just a break from the world. It can be a way of living with intention. The show blends personal stories with big questions about identity, freedom, and community. It asks listeners to think about what it means to be open, not only with your body, but with your values and your relationships.
In a society obsessed with filters and image control, this podcast offers something refreshingly honest. It shows the beauty of vulnerability, but it also talks about the work needed to keep naturist spaces safe and respectful.

Final thoughts
The Naturist Vibe does not just tell you what naturism looks like. It asks you to imagine what it could look like at its best. The show is thoughtful, honest, and unafraid of the harder conversations. It treats naturism as a practice that can build confidence, connection, and real community.
