A compassionate hindsight
I spent most of my teens and twenties convinced that if I just got the right body, everything else would fall into place. The dates would materialize. The confidence would arrive. I’d look in the mirror and think “yes, this is it” instead of cataloging every perceived flaw.
Spoiler alert: that’s not how any of this works.
